New Beginnings

Since the epidemic many people are looking for more authenticity and simplicity in their lives.  I have heard so many clients and friends talk about their desire for genuine connection with others.  We have all been through so much in the last years and there has been a shift in priorities. Sometimes we just feel overwhelmed.

A lot of people have moved out of big cities to rural areas like Bishops Lydeard in search of a more direct connection with nature and the outdoors.

We were deprived of being with loved ones for a time and some of us lost loved ones.  Everyone has their own story but often, each one ends in the same place – a desire for connection, comfort, authenticity, simplicity and security.

Some of that is found in material things but sometimes not.  The power of genuine therapeutic touch can be transformative – a language beyond words

Perception is everything and I work in such a way that I offer the space and time to provide a new way of seeing – a new perspective.  Walking through my door you may feel bouncy and full of joy or you may not….

What I often notice is the relief on a client’s face after they have been treated – relief from physical pain, low mood, low energy or worry having drained away to be replaced by a renewed hope and optimism about their life and health

I offer the gift of time,

time to be heard,

time to be seen

a chance to let go of limitations and pressures

The space I work in I call The Snug because its purpose is to cocoon you.

Low lighting, ambient sound, soothing aromas and warmth.

During Autumn and Winter we often feel the desire to hunker down, surround ourselves with soft blankets, cup warm drinks, breathe in the smell of orange and cinnamon and have festive and colourful scenes around us, wrap up warm for a walk, kick up dry leaves as we wander through forests of beach trees - our sensory world craving colour and warmth to counter the lower light and temperature.
